The Myrtle Beach Seahawks basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Hartsville Red Foxes to 59 in the Seahawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Seahawks now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Florence for a AAAA Region 6 contest on Friday, January 12. Myrtle Beach will battle a Bruins team coming off a 64-53 league loss to Wilson (Florence, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 8-9.

The Red Foxes (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Chiefs enter the AAAA Region 6 contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, North Myrtle Beach was nudged by West Florence (Florence, SC), 65-60, in a league contest.
