Connecticut High School Basketball - Housatonic-Wamogo overwhelmed by Northwestern Regional

The Northwestern Regional Highlanders basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers to 34 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Litchfield for a Berkshire contest on Friday, January 12. Northwestern Regional will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 86-47 non-league win over Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-4.
The Mountaineers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Shepaug Valley was routed by Wamogo Regional (Litchfield, CT), 69-61, in a league contest.
