In Wednesday's league match, the host Ridge View Blazers basketball team scored a decisive 66-43 triumph over the Irmo Yellowjackets.

In their next game, the Blazers meet the Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 match, on Wednesday, January 17. Ridge View will attempt to move on its 16-0 season record. The Redhawks enter the match with a 12-1 record after their 72-59 league win over A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC).
