Connecticut High School Basketball - Wamogo topples Shepaug Valley

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT) basketball squad beat the host Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT), by a count of 69-61.

The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Thomaston (Thomaston, CT). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Thomaston defeated Gilbert (Winsted, CT), 85-44, in a league outing.

The Spartans now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Housatonic-Wamogo for a non-league outing on Friday, January 12. Shepaug Valley will clash with a Mountaineers squad coming off a 73-34 non-league loss to Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-7.
