Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) and the visiting Lewis Academy Watchmen (Newberg, OR), saw St. Paul's basketball squad overcome Lewis Academy by a tally of 52-36.

With the victory, St. Paul improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Buckaroos travel to Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR) to confront the Warriors in a 1A Casco challenge on Friday, January 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Willamette Valley Christian won 50-40 in their recent league challenge against Lewis Academy (Newberg, OR)

Next up, the Watchmen confront the Lyle/Wishram Cougars (Lyle, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Lewis Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 52-44 league loss to Horizon Christian (Hood River, OR).
