Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV), 44-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lincoln County upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Panthers host WestSide (Clear Fork, WV) to play the Renegades in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Renegades go into the bout with a record of 5-3. WestSide won 71-68 in their recent league bout against Summers County (Hinton, WV)

Next up, the Raiders play the Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders (Prosperity, WV) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 72-54 non-league win over Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV).
