The Monarchs now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dinwiddie for a Central battle on Friday, January 12. Meadowbrook will confront a Generals team coming off a 93-60 non-league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Generals record now stands at 6-4.

The Royals (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors come into the Central battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Matoaca was overwhelmed by Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA), 120-12, in a non-league battle.
