With the win, Military Magnet Academy upgrades its record to 3-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to St. John's (John's Island, SC) to play the Islanders in a A Region 8 bout on Friday, January 12. The Islanders go into the bout with a record of 4-10. St. John's won 45-38 in their recent league bout against Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC)

Next up, the Phoenix play the St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC) in a A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Palmetto Scholars Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Islanders go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 73-42 league loss to Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC).
