Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mount Vernon Patriots (Murray, UT) and the host Utah School for the Deaf & Blind Eagles (Ogden, UT), saw Mount Vernon's basketball squad knock off Utah School for the Deaf & Blind by a count of 64-47.

With the victory, Mount Vernon upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Piute (Junction, UT) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Piute won 73-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Millard (Fillmore, UT)

Next up, the Eagles play the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Utah School for the Deaf & Blind will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
