The Mystic Valley Regional Eagles (Malden, MA) basketball knocked off the host South Shore Vo-Tech Vikings (Hanover, MA), 50-34 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Notre Dame Cristo Rey (Lawrence, MA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Notre Dame Cristo Rey notched a victory over Collegiate Charter School of Lowell (Lowell, MA), 53-52, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Old Colony RVT for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. South Shore Vo-Tech will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 85-38 non-league win over Cape Cod RVT (Harwich, MA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-0.
