The Peoria Heights Patriots basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars to 50 in the Patriots non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Illini Bluffs for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Peoria Heights will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-32 non-league win over Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 17-3.

The Cougars (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL). The Tornadoes come into the Lincoln Trail contest with a 8-10 record.
