Port Huron Northern Huskies (Port Huron, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI), 67-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Port Huron Northern upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Huskies host Romeo (Romeo, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Macomb Area - White bout on Friday, January 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Romeo lost 79-70 in their recent league bout against New Haven (New Haven, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Utica Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Norsemen go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to Lincoln (Warren, MI).
