The Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA) basketball nipped the visiting South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA), 50-45 in Wednesday's league test.

The Rough Riders (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Eastern test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Garfield got by Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA), 63-43, in a league test.
