St. Clair Bulldogs (St. Clair, MO) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wright City Wildcats (Wright City, MO), 47-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Clair upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to DeSoto (DeSoto, MO) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 6-9. DeSoto won 41-40 in their recent non-league bout against Sullivan (Sullivan, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO) in a Eastern Missouri bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Wright City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
