The Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) basketball nipped the host Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), 70-68 in Wednesday's league test.
The Patriots (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats go into the North Suburban test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Libertyville got by Zion-Benton (Zion, IL), 61-56, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fremd for a non-league test on Saturday, January 13. Waukegan will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 54-40 non-league loss to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 10-6.
