The Monterey Trail Mustangs basketball team (Elk Grove, CA), was overwhelmed 70-32 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Grant Pacers (Sacramento, CA)
The Pacers now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burbank for a battle on Friday, January 12. Grant will battle a Titans team coming off a 67-60 league loss to McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Titans record now stands at 4-10.
The Mustangs (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals come into the battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Laguna Creek trounced River City (West Sacramento, CA), 59-50, in a league battle.
