Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Marina Mariners (Marina, CA), 46-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Watsonville upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Wildcatz travel to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA) to play the Sharks in a bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Mariners play the Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 12. Marina will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
