With the victory, Central Davidson upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to confront the Timberwolves in a 3A Mid-Piedmont battle on Friday, January 12. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a record of 10-1. Montgomery Central won 46-34 in their recent league battle against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)

The Blue Comets (3-12) will now prepare for their battle against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights come into the 3A Mid-Piedmont battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, North Davidson trounced Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 57-40, in a league battle.
