Ohio High School Basketball - Avon nudges Berea-Midpark

Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Berea-Midpark Titans (Berea, OH), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Avon upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Midview (Grafton, OH) to clash with the Middies in a Southwestern bout on Saturday, January 13. The Middies go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Midview lost 73-37 in their recent league bout against North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, January 14. Berea-Midpark will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 43-28 league loss to Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH).
