New York High School Basketball - Hillcrest can't hold off Bayside

The Bayside Commodores basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Hillcrest Hawks to 62 in the Commodores league triumph on Wednesday.
The Commodores now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jamaica for a PSAL AAAA Queens II contest on Friday, January 12. Bayside will battle a Beavers team coming off a 55-40 league loss to John Adams (Ozone Park, NY). The Beavers record now stands at 5-5.
The Hawks (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lane (Brooklyn, NY). The Knights enter the PSAL AAAA Queens II contest with a 0-10 record.
