The Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Rockwood Rockets to 38 in the Mountaineers league victory on Wednesday.
The Mountaineers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Berlin Brothersvalley will battle a Crimson Tide team coming off a 56-27 non-league loss to Lancaster Catholic (Lancaster, PA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 7-3.
The Rockets (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Star (Boswell, PA). The Cougars come into the Inter County - West contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, North Star was routed by Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA), 50-19, in a non-league contest.
