In Wednesday's league outing, the Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD), by a count of 73-43.

The Knights (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Linganore (Frederick, MD). The Lancers go into the Central Maryland outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Linganore smashed Urbana (Ijamsville, MD), 63-41, in a league outing.

The Warriors now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to South Hagerstown for a Central Maryland outing on Friday, January 12. Boonsboro will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 42-38 league loss to Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The Rebels record now stands at 0-9.
