Hammonton Blue Devils (Hammonton, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bridgeton Bulldogs (Bridgeton, NJ), 48-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Hammonton upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Blue Devils host St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-4. St. Joseph lost 50-19 in their recent non-league bout against Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Pennsville Memorial Eagles (Pennsville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Bridgeton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 68-18 non-league loss to Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ).
