Maryland High School Basketball - Brunswick trounced by Catoctin

In Wednesday's league match, the host Catoctin Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 61-21 triumph over the Brunswick Railroaders.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 12. Catoctin will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 52-33 league win over Liberty (Sykesville, MD).

With the defeat, Brunswick moves to 1-7 on the year. The Railroaders travel to St. James (Hagerstown, MD) to meet the Saints in a non-league match on Thursday, January 11.
