Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT), 54-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fair Haven upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Slaters travel to U-32 (Montpelier, VT) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-6. U-32 lost 43-32 in their recent non-league bout against Spaulding (Barre, VT)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Enosburg Falls Hornets (Enosburg Falls, VT) in a Mountain bout, on Saturday, January 13. Mt. Abraham will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
