Fairfield Falcons (Goshen, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fremont Eagles (Fremont, IN), 38-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Fairfield upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Falcons host Lakeland (LaGrange, IN) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Lakeland won 37-34 in their recent non-league bout against Westview (Topeka, IN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Woodlan Warriors (Woodburn, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Fremont will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 61-40 league loss to Jay County (Portland, IN).
