The George Ranch Longhorns basketball team (Richmond, TX), was nudged 51-44 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX)
The Rangers now possess a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Elkins for a 6A Region III District 20 battle on Saturday, January 13. Fort Bend Clements will confront a Knights team coming off a 61-42 league win over George Ranch (Richmond, TX). The Knights record now stands at 10-15.
The Longhorns (3-20) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region III District 20 battle with a 24-1 record. In their last battle, Fort Bend Austin edged Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX), 100-25, in a league battle.
