Geneva Eagles (Geneva, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH), 47-38 in a league bout.
With the victory, Geneva upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Madison (Madison, OH) to play the Blue Streaks in a Chagrin Valley - Lake bout on Saturday, January 13. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a record of 11-1. Madison won 50-24 in their recent league bout against Harvey (Painesville, OH)
Next up, the Falcons play the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Lake bout, on Saturday, January 13. Jefferson Area will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 52-11 league loss to Perry (Perry, OH).
