Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA), 62-20 in a league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Hebron Christian Lions (Dacula, GA) in a AAA Region 8 game, on Friday, January 12. Hart County will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 13-2 record after their 67-29 league win over Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA).

With the defeat, Monroe Area moves to 3-11 on the year. The Purple hurricanes travel to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA) to face the Lions in a AAA Region 8 game on Friday, January 12. The Lions enter the game with a record of 10-6. Franklin County won 50-39 in their recent league game against Stephens County (Toccoa, GA)
