With the victory, South Delta improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Shaw (Shaw, MS) to confront the Warriors in a 1A Region 5 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Shaw won 55-38 in their recent league challenge against West Tallahatchie (Webb, MS)

Next up, the Cubs confront the Simmons Blue Devils (Hollandale, MS) in a 1A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Leland will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 42-27 league win over West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS).
