California High School Basketball - Lincoln trounces Nevada Union

January 10, 2024: Lincoln, CA 95648

The Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 72-47 in Wednesday's league test.

The Fighting Zebras (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen go into the Foothill Valley test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Placer was trounced by Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA), 59-33, in a league test.

The Miners now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host West Park for a Foothill Valley test on Friday, January 12. Nevada Union will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 50-46 league loss to Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-6.
