North Carolina High School Basketball - McDowell routs North Buncombe

January 10, 2024: Marion, NC 28752

In Wednesday's league outing, the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC), by a count of 61-29.

The Titans (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets go into the 3A/4A Mountain outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Enka was crushed by A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC), 71-20, in a league outing.

The Black Hawks now hold a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Enka for a 3A/4A Mountain outing on Tuesday, January 16. North Buncombe will clash with a Jets squad coming off a 60-25 league loss to McDowell (Marion, NC). The Jets record now stands at 4-9.
