Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA), 52-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Prince George upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA) to play the Warriors in a Central bout on Thursday, January 11. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Matoaca lost 48-37 in their recent non-league bout against The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA)

Next up, the Monarchs play the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) in a Central bout, on Thursday, January 11. Meadowbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Generals come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 48-25 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA).
