Michigan High School Basketball - Rudyard ripped by Newberry

The Newberry Indians basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Rudyard Bulldogs to 23 in the Indians league triumph on Wednesday.
The Indians now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St.Ignace for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Newberry will battle a Saints team coming off a 59-18 non-league win over Pickford (Pickford, MI). The Saints record now stands at 8-1.
The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Sault Area triumphed over Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI), 57-27, in a league contest.
