North Carolina High School Basketball - North Duplin crushes Spring Creek

North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC), 53-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Duplin upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Rebels travel to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC) to play the Cougars in a 1A Carolina bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-7.
Next up, the Gators play the North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) in a 2A Neuse bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Spring Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 40-24 non-league win over Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC).
