Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) and the visiting West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC), saw North Rowan's basketball squad wallop West Davidson by a count of 81-44.

With the victory, North Rowan upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Lexington (Lexington, NC) to play the Yellowjackets in a 1A/2A Central Carolina challenge on Friday, January 12. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Lexington lost 71-35 in their recent league challenge against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC)

Next up, the Dragons play the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina challenge, on Friday, January 12. West Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 58-34 league loss to East Davidson (Thomasville, NC).
