San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rancho Dominguez Lobos (Long Beach, CA), 74-24 in a league bout.

With the win, San Pedro upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Pirates host Gardena (Gardena, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a Marine bout on Friday, January 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Gardena won 32-29 in their recent league bout against Narbonne (Harbor City, CA)

Next up, the Lobos clash with the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) in a Marine bout, on Friday, January 12. Rancho Dominguez will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 41-30 league win over Banning (Wilmington, CA).
