The West Columbus Vikings basketball team (Cerro Gordo, NC), was routed 48-14 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC)

The Stallions now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whiteville for a 1A/2A Waccamaw battle on Tuesday, January 23.

The Vikings (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots come into the 1A/2A Waccamaw battle with a 1-7 record.
