The Cavaliers (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Bunker Hill was trounced by West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 26-24, in a league test.

The Red Devils now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to West Lincoln for a test on Friday, January 12. Newton-Conover will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 26-24 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 3-4.
