Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) and the visiting Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), saw East Duplin's basketball squad wallop Richlands by a tally of 44-4.

With the victory, East Duplin improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. James Kenan won 36-11 in their recent non-league challenge against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Richlands will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 35-20 non-league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC).
