Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) and the host West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC), saw Pisgah's basketball squad knock off West Henderson by a count of 41-28.

With the victory, Pisgah upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to play the Mountaineers in a challenge on Friday, January 12. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 12-0. Tuscola won 31-27 in their recent non-league challenge against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)

Next up, the Falcons play the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 11. West Henderson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 51-14 non-league win over Asheville (Asheville, NC).
