The Apache Junction Prospectors basketball team (Apache Junction, AZ), was nudged 47-40 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ)
The Dons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apache Junction for a battle on Tuesday, January 23.
The Prospectors (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Demons come into the battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Dysart edged Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ), 59-46, in a non-league battle.
