North Carolina High School Basketball - Leadership Academy topped by Carver

The Carver Yellowjackets basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Leadership Academy Falcons to 46 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethany for a contest on Tuesday, January 16. Carver will battle a Wolves team coming off a 60-15 league loss to Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 2-10.
The Falcons (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, College Prep & Leadership Academy was defeated by Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC), 47-40, in a league contest.
