Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA), 49-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Oxnard upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Ventura (Ventura, CA) to play the Cougars in a bout on Friday, January 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Chargers play the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Dos Pueblos will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
