The Sotomayor Wolves basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Elizabeth Bulldogs to 33 in the Wolves league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wolves now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Torres for a contest on Friday, January 12. Sotomayor will battle a Toros team coming off a 40-15 non-league loss to Lincoln (Los Angeles, CA). The Toros record now stands at 0-3.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA). The Gladiators enter the contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Marquez ran past Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA), 91-28, in a league contest.
