The Monterey Trail Mustangs basketball team (Elk Grove, CA), was nudged 60-58 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Grant Pacers (Sacramento, CA)
The Pacers now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burbank for a battle on Friday, January 12. Grant will battle a Titans team coming off a 57-56 league win over McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Titans record now stands at 8-9.
The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals come into the battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Laguna Creek edged River City (West Sacramento, CA), 63-48, in a league battle.
