Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL), 1-0 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nature Coast Tech upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Sharks host Crystal River (Crystal River, FL) to play the Pirates in a bout on Friday, January 12. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Crystal River lost 43-40 in their recent non-league bout against Tavares (Tavares, FL)

Next up, the Leopards play the Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Hernando will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
