North Carolina High School Basketball - Rockingham County topped by High Point Central

The High Point Central Bison basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Rockingham County Cougars to 34 in the Bison non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bison now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ben L. Smith for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. High Point Central will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 48-35 non-league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
The Cougars (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Panthers come into the contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Dudley prevailed over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC), 44-36, in a league contest.
