With the victory, Kinston improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. South Lenoir lost 40-38 in their recent league challenge against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Southwest Onslow will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 49-30 non-league loss to North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC).
