In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Rosewood Eagles basketball team scored a good 43-34 triumph over the Midway Raiders.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 16. Rosewood will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 62-32 non-league loss to Harnett Central (Angier, NC).
The Raiders (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes come into the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Fairmont beat Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC), 54-51, in a non-league battle.
